Mathie / ICMC Account & Data Deletion

Mathie Adventure and ICMC use a shared account. Choose whether you want to request deletion of eligible Mathie game data only or deletion of the shared ICMC/Mathie account and associated personal data.

All requests are reviewed and processed manually by our administrators through support@math-contest.org. Sending a request does not immediately delete any account or records.

Option 1

Delete Mathie Data Only

Request deletion of your Mathie game save, learning progress, and other eligible game data, while retaining your shared ICMC account, competition results, and certificates.

Administrators will review the game data covered by your request and any related classroom or shared records before processing it. This option does not request deletion of your ICMC competition records or the shared account.

Option 2

Delete Shared ICMC/Mathie Account

Request deletion of your shared WordPress account used by ICMC and Mathie, together with associated personal data that is eligible for deletion.

Deleting the shared account may affect your access to ICMC participation, competition results and certificates, classroom membership, and Mathie progress. Competition, financial, or other records may need to be retained under applicable law or legitimate retention requirements.

How to submit your request

  • Where possible, send the request from your registered email address. If you cannot access that address, contact support to arrange a safe follow-up process.
  • Administrators may need to verify account ownership or your authority as a parent or guardian before processing the request. Any necessary verification will be explained in a follow-up message.
  • Do not email your password. Do not include student records, payment card details, identity documents, or other sensitive information in the initial request.
  • Administrators will confirm the outcome by email after processing, including any data that must be retained and the applicable reason.
  • Deleting some data may be irreversible. Ask support to clarify the scope and effects if you are unsure which option to choose.

If an email button does not open your email client, email support@math-contest.org directly using one of these subjects: Request to Delete Mathie Data or Request to Delete ICMC/Mathie Account. You do not need to sign in or reinstall the app to send a request.

Data review and retention

Eligible data will be reviewed for deletion or de-identification in accordance with the actual applicable policy. Some competition results, certificates, school-related records, financial and transaction records, security or integrity records, and backup copies may be subject to legal or other legitimate retention requirements.

We do not promise immediate deletion of all records. The categories retained, the reasons, and applicable retention periods depend on the records and requirements involved. Please read our Privacy Policy; support will explain how the applicable policy affects your request and any retention that remains necessary.
